This watercolor painting was done by my grandmother, May English in 1912. She was then just twenty years old. The original painting is now 111 years old. Imagine . . .
I used to stare at this painting throughout my life with awe. I found it remarkable that one could do such detailed painting with watercolors. The face is remarkable!
At any rate, I thought it time to share this beautiful piece with anyone who might enjoy that same wonder.
